Behemke.hu

My first true personal project, the "Behemke", was about developing a small website for my wife's business.

During development I aimed for high SEO scores, because it was important to get a lot of people to the website in a short time. This goal was achieved, as the site was ranked 15th on average in the first months, and since then it has appeared in the TOP 10 most of the time with 8% CTR (click-through rate). I also added Google and token-based authentication and a custom appointment booking tool.

After 2 years I felt the Behemke.hu has a bit outdated look, so I redesigned its style, also paid attention to make it as accessible as possible using the knowledge I have gained during my time at UserWay. I wanted to make keep the site simple so I removed the login and appointment booking tool, because they were not used that much.
