UserWay Widget

An accessibility-focused SaaS widget that website owners can inject into their websites. The free version provides tools for users (e.g. contrast enhancement, hiding images, link highlighting), while the paid version automatically detects and fixes accessibility violations.

My inpact on the project

  • Worked in a fully remote, international team on a SaaS product, using Cursor as part of the development workflow
  • Worked on Cypress E2E tests covering ~10% of previously manual test cases, improving test reliability and regression coverage
  • Actively contributed to the ongoing UI refactor of the widget to improve structure, maintainability, and scalability
  • Optimized internal widget logic, including the link highlighting feature, achieving 2x performance improvement and eliminating page-freezing issues
  • Supported bi-weekly sprint releases, participated in demos, and presented development results to Vice President of Engineering
  • Performed continuous code maintenance, including bug fixes, reducing code duplication, and integrating the UserWay LABS project into the core widget
